Nicoletta e Mark wedding at Villa Aurelia

Preparation

We are glad to show you this elegant wedding at Villa Aurelia, in Rome.
For their wedding, Nicoletta and Mark from Switzerland chose the Janiculum hill, just in the heart of the Eternal city.

The bride prepaired in a refined historical palace, which provide a vary elegant scenario for our first photographs. These are always emotional moments for the bride and we love to capture these emotions with spontaneous but perfect images. Final steps of make up, first touches to the hairdo, those looks to the wedding gown, bridesmaids waiting to see the bride dressed up, perfect moments for some reportage getting the best from light entering from the windows and people’s smiles.

Ceremony

After wearing her elegant gown embroidered with a very particular pattern and a lace-embroided veil, Nicoletta moved to the Church.
For the ceremony, they chose the Church of San Pietro in Montorio, a stunning Renaissance church in Rome, which was traditionally built on the site where Saint Peter was crucified on the Janiculum hill.
Mark was waiting for his bride on the aisle, visibly touched as she was walking down. The ceremony was intimare but also heartfelt, with all guests joining the couple’s emotions.

After the ceremony, the bride and groom posed for some beautiful amazing couple photos in the lavish salons and in the gardens of the venue.

Wedding reception at Villa Aurelia

Their wedding at Villa Aurelia continued with an outdoor candlelit reception in the lemon trees garden, certainly the best choice in summer! There was also time for some funny but moving speeches from friends and family, then again precious moments to capture. The cake-cutting moment was truly scenic, thanks to the light fountains and the villa as a stunning backdrop!

Another great feature of this joyful night was for sure the music by live band The Shakes! In any event, bride and father and mr & mrs’s first dances are always iconic and deeply emotional moments. After these dances, that’s were the party started and the salons became a disco. We are sure every guest had a very good time at this wedding at Villa Aurelia!
